We’ve had past students book their first paid jobs, book their first weddings as the lead photographer, break 5-figure financial goals, quit their full-time jobs to pursue photography, fill their calendar with paid work, and finally pursue their dreams of owning profitable and sustainable photography businesses! We began writing content for newer photographers on our blog in 2018. In 2019, we began our free Photography Apprenticeship Program for local photographers, which includes hands-on wedding day experience, quarterly workshops on photography and business, and monthly 2-on-1 coaching. After years of running that program, over 100-hours of coaching calls, and getting meaningful results for our Apprentices, we began paid coaching in 2021, and launched our first paid workshops in 2022.

Although we’ve taught photography basics, posing, on-location lighting selection, and post-production, our main goal is to train newer photographers run profitable and sustainable businesses. That's what really gets us excited!

We spent more than two years apprenticing under Eric Kelley, a world-renowned, luxury wedding photographer, named one of the best photographers in the world by Harper's Bazaar. In addition to that, our undergraduate educations are in engineering and pre-law – a combination perfectly-suited for the technical side of running a small business. We often think of ourselves as entrepreneurs who photograph weddings, not artists who own a business.

This is likely why we were able to book our first wedding package above $8,000 just 5 years after photographing our very first wedding. Now, we’ve booked and photographed over 150 weddings, and our photography business brings in more than $200,000 per year. While we can’t guarantee the same results, we can guarantee that we’ll share with our students our secrets and our wisdom that helped us achieve such fantastic results!
