They had seen some of our past weddings on the Mall, and loved the casual fun of each one! The Downtown Mall provides so much opportunity to really get creative; for us to find that one thing that really calls to our couple. For Hannah and Dalton, they were drawn to the ice cream shop!

When we asked what drew Hannah and Dalton to Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall for their engagement session, they told us that they liked the vibe.

After taking some shots with their dog, Presley, on this warm summer evening, I think we were all ready for something cold! And we were extremely impressed when Dalton got the chocolate-mocha ice cream and managed to keep his white shirt clean 😂 After a few more shots enjoying their cones on the Mall, we were so excited to head up to the top of a nearby parking garage for those final golden-hour shots! Not to mention, so we could catch that slight breeze.
