We've built our business on empowering our couples, and helping them feel confident and comfortable during every step of their journey with us. Of course the images we capture are important! But we also know that how you feel is just as important as how you look, and making your wedding day comfortable, enjoyable, and fun is a critical part of what we do. We try to make every step in the planning process — especially your engagement session and on your wedding day — have more of a double-date atmosphere, instead of a models-posing-for-portraits vibe. We know that this helps our couples feel more confident and comfortable in front of our cameras than they’ve ever felt before!

02. Let's Meet
We hate the high-pressure sales tactics that are all-too-common in the wedding industry. We encourage all our couples to take some time after our meeting to talk to each other, and reach out to us again once they’re ready to book!
03. Make it Official
We LOVE engagement photoshoots with our couples! It gives the four of us an incredible opportunity to keep getting to know each other better, and makes the wedding day go that much more smoothly. Plus, they’re just a ton of fun!
04. Engagement Session
This is what it’s all about! The time has finally come for two to become one, and for us to be there to capture every minute of the most beautiful day of your lives. These days are why we do what we do, and we love Every. Single. Minute.
05. Your Wedding Day
We’re millennials, so we get it – you want to see some of your wedding photos right away! That’s why we post a small handful of images to our social media from your wedding within 48 hours of your day.
06. Sneak Peek
This is an opportunity for us to really tell the story of your day in a condensed form. This blog, delivered within 3 weeks of your wedding, is also the perfect holdover so you can relive the joy and excitement of your wedding day as soon as possible.
07. Blog
8 weeks after your wedding day, you’ll receive a link in your inbox to your own personal online gallery. You can order prints or wall art directly from this gallery, and full-resolution digital files are – of course – included!
08. Online Gallery
Once your online gallery has been delivered, we begin designing your Heirloom Wedding Album. While you two will have a chance to review the album before it goes into production, we do all of the design, so you can just enjoy newlywed bliss. If we hear back from you right away, you can expect this album within 3-6 months of your wedding day.
09. Wedding Album
Wedding photography is an investment in your legacy. You'll cherish these images for the rest of your life.
Since every couple is different and each wedding day unique, we build a custom quote for each wedding. Couples typically spend between $6,500 and $13,000 with us. Inquire here for your own custom quote!

Investment
Since every couple is different and each wedding day unique, we build a custom quote for each wedding. Couples getting married in 2023 or 2024 should expect to spend between $6,500 and $13,000 with us, depending on a variety of factors. Inquire with us here for your own custom quote!
Hunter and Sarah work together on every single wedding day, so every custom package includes two full-time, professional photographers. As co-lead photographers, there is no “second shooter”, but two primary photographers! If you’re having an especially large celebration, we’re happy to discuss bringing additional photographer(s) onto our team for an additional fee.
Hunter and Sarah are “hybrid photographers”, meaning they shoot a combination of both film photography AND digital photography on wedding days and engagement sessions! To learn more about why we shoot film, check out the blurb below.
Since the very beginning of our career, we’ve specialized solely in photography, and do not capture videography at all. We decided that putting the full force of our creative energy into a single medium would make us exceptional photographers, as opposed to just good photographers and good videographers. However, let us know if you need recommendations for some stellar video teams!
We’ve photographed weddings and engagement sessions in Europe and in Mexico, and from New York to Texas to California. If your celebration will be outside of Central Virginia, just let us know, and we'll be sure to include any travel fees in your custom quote! We truly enjoy traveling for our couples!
Yes! A small, remote-operated drone is the newest addition to our camera bag, as of the fall of 2023. If your venue (and the weather) permit, we can put a drone into the air during select moments of the day to photograph your wedding from a whole new angle.

While the reliability and all-day performance of our state-of-the-art digital cameras just can’t be beat, even the greatest digital cameras in the world can’t match the depth, the rawness, and the feel of film photography. That’s why we photograph with both film and digital cameras on wedding days and engagement sessions, and adapt our digital work to be as close to the aesthetic of film as possible.

While you’ll certainly love your online gallery, it’s your Heirloom Wedding Album that will tell the story of your wedding day, and allow you to re-experience your wedding day each time you flip through your album (like on your anniversary!).
Your wedding album is how we capture the joy, the celebration, and the excitement of your wedding day, and tell a story of that day with our imagery.
