Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
Charlie has been one of my closest friends in the world since we were freshmen in high school. We bonded over the same things that 14 year-old boys have been bonding over for decades: playing ping-pong, talking about girls, and staying up late playing video games with friends. And I’m glad to say that much of our friendship hasn’t changed over the last decade, especially not the guys we hang out with. For reference, he and our two friends Drew and Evan have each missed no more than one or two Sheldon Family Beach Weeks over the last 11 years, and in early high school, it wasn’t uncommon for us to see each other 4 or 5 days a week over the summers. We often still joke about the same hilarious high school mishaps, and are all like additional sons to each other’s parents. These three guys stood beside me at my wedding, and I’ll likely do the same for them (as long as I’m not also behind a camera).
However, a lot has changed since Charlie and I first became friends. We graduated high school and went off to different colleges. Sarah and I began dating, got engaged, and got married. And of course, Charlie met Bailey. For the last two years, I’ve heard about their relationship mostly from a distance, as Charlie and I don’t live in the same city like we did growing up. But from the time that I’ve spent with Charlie in the last year or so, I know that he’s as happy as I’ve ever known him to be. While I can’t give Bailey all the credit, I’m sure she’s been instrumental in making Charlie into the most confident, fun-loving, and goofy version of himself that I’ve ever known.
Thank you so much for answering our model call, and taking time out of your vacation to explore Corolla with Sarah and I. We had so much fun during our time in the Outer Banks earlier this month, and a large part of it was finally getting to know you two as a couple. In the moments during the session when we let you two interact without instruction, we got some incredible insight into your relationship: a kiss, a wet-willie, a piggy-back ride, and a lift. If that doesn’t describe your fun-loving, we-don’t-take-ourselves-too-seriously, yet totally in-love relationship, we don’t know what does. We love you both, and can’t wait to see you again soon!
With love,
Hunter + Sarah
