Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
“You’re breathtaking…” Those were the only words that Casey managed to get out before he nearly fell to the ground, overwhelmed with emotion. He had just turned around and gotten his first look at Nicole — at his bride. It was (and we mean this completely literally) only five degrees above freezing on that late-December morning, but we doubted that in that moment, either Nicole or Casey noticed.
In fact, Nicole and Casey were SO overwhelmingly infatuated with each other, it took quite a while before either of them seemed to notice that it was even cold outside. Of course, once they did, it was time to head back inside and warm up for a time before a few more portraits! Luckily, Sarah and I are pros when it comes to efficient wedding party and family portraits, so we were able to minimize the time we spent out in the cold, and rescue back even more time for the happy couple to spend with their families throughout the day. After all, wedding photos are SO important, but it’s the people at the wedding, celebrating our happy couples, that ultimately matter the most on those days.
It has honestly been a privilege becoming better friends with you two throughout this year. For two people who are “awkward in front of a camera” (your exact words at our first meeting), we hope that after seeing these photos you’ll put that myth to rest! Nicole, the way you planned your beautiful winter wedding, assembled your own bouquets, hand-painted your own dress, and still found time to take dancing lessons so you could blow away your entire wedding with that first dance — well, impressed just doesn’t even begin to express how we feel. And I have no doubt in my mind that Casey knows exactly how lucky he is to have you. After all, we saw the way that he looked at you on Saturday 🙂
With love,
Sarah + Hunter
