Sunset Engagement Session at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards

When we first met Laura and Connor by the tasting room at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards for their engagement session, there was only one thing on our minds. It was HOT. It’s now early July, so a hot photoshoot is not exactly a surprise. But it still had us a bit worried. Luckily, our fears turned out to be unfounded since Laura and Connor were virtually unphased. They were certainly hot, but you wouldn’t know it was 96 degrees from their images!
And it’s not because they love the heat. It’s because they love each other! We told them early on that the key to great smiles was lots of laughter – which is why we keep things fairly laid back and try to always have a good time with our couples. But this time, I didn’t even have to break out any of my bad jokes! Laura and Connor had each other laughing from the time we began until we were driving away from Pippin. Pippin – by the way – was as gorgeous as we remember. The views, combined with a lucky thin veil of clouds softening the sunset at their backs made for some absolutely stunning backdrops to this joyful couple.

We’re so excited to be on this adventure with you two! We know that December feels like a long ways away, but we’re sure your winter wedding at Pippin Hill will be here before you know it! Plus, after a year of Texas-Virginia long distance, you two can do anything! But in the meantime, we know that these images will serve as a wonderful reminder of the love you two share, and why you’re going through the craziness of wedding planning in the first place!
