Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. Weâre also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
As Megan and Joe’s officiant spoke about the seriousness of entering into the covenant of marriage, she punctuated her point with this statement: “This is the greatest commitment you will ever make.” Without pause, a two-year-old voice loudly responded, “Uh oh!” Kennedee, Megan and Joe’s flower girl, apparently understood the commitment Megan and Joe were making to one another! Either that, or she had just ripped her dad’s boutineer off of his wedding jacket đ Either way, her timing was perfect to send Megan and Joe’s entire wedding — the officiant included — into laughter!
All comedic levity aside, Megan and Joe have certainly been through the ringer. They had moved their wedding date from April of this year to November due to the COVID-19 lockdown this spring. Then, as cases surged again in the fall, Megan and Joe chose to lower their guest count to 25 and move much of their day outdoors. In the end, their safety efforts were rewarded with a beautiful, warm November day! As we began portraits with Megan and Joe on that beautiful November afternoon, they told us that they had been practicing the twirl we taught them during their engagement session more than 14 months before! We thought they were joking until we saw them do their twirl đ
We are so glad that you chose us to capture your wedding day! We absolutely loved working with you two and we hope that these photos serve as a joyful reminder of your commitment to each other for decades to come. We know that the wedding day felt a bit “FINALLY” after a 6-month postponement, but we know that celebrating (safely) with your closest friends and family certainly made the wait worth it!
With love,
Sarah + Hunter
