Intimate Spring Wedding at Alturia Farm Outside Richmond, VA

As a wedding photographer, there are certain points during a wedding day where I (almost always) cry. Having known Jonathan since college, I expected to be emotional during Kaitie and Jon’s wedding – but I had no idea what I was in for! All throughout Kaitie’s first look with her dad, her first look with her bridesmaids, and her first look with Jonathan, I was holding back tears. There is something absolutely wonderful about seeing a friend absolutely in love, and Kaitie and Jonathan’s wedding at Alturia Farm was one of the most gentle and loving days we have had the joy to be a part of!

When Kaitie caught her dress on a bench and ripped her train first thing in the morning, she was completely unphased. She knew what was most important and nothing was going to upset her! When a couple is so focused on each other and their marriage, rather than the details of the wedding day, we know there are great things in store for their future! It was a joy to watch these two interact with their friends and family – to see how they love others as well as each other. Kaitie and Jonathan delighted in their guests as much as each other, and we know that they will cherish these moments for the rest of their lives.
