For so many of our couples, it takes quite a bit of time with us during their engagement session before they start feeling like the models that they are. But it was totally different with Sophie and Evan! They were snuggling, laughing, walking around Old Town Alexandria, and smiling naturally for the camera from our first few images! As it turns out, they’ve had plenty of practice. Evan’s dad is also a photographer, which means these two have had their fair share of practice for their engagement session!

This was Hunter’s very first time in Old Town Alexandria, and Sophie and Evan were the perfect couple to walk around with! They were open to trying different locations while we strolled along the streets getting to know each other better. Posing in a public place can be strange, but Sophie and Evan hardly noticed! From cars to pedestrians, from walking through traffic to tricky cobblestone steps – these two were ENTIRELY unphased! This was perfect practice for their September wedding in D.C. proper!
