Leslie’s hands were shaking as she pulled her invitation suite and ring boxes out of her bride bag for us to photograph. Both nervous and excited, this sweet, soft-spoken woman had planned her day down to the smallest details, and were ready to have them all captured! Throughout getting ready, Leslie was focused on whether everyone had what they needed, how they were doing, and whether or not they’d be able to make it to each part of the day on time! Once we finally had an ETA on one bridesmaid who had an emergency visit to the ER that morning, Leslie was able to re-center on getting ready, and head on to her First Look with Eli!

Leslie — looking like an absolute queen in her Jimmy Choo heels and Stella York dress — and her stunning groom Eli — dressed head-to-toe in a custom tuxedo —  looked like they had walked right out of a high-end bridal magazine! Since we first met Eli, we knew that he would bring plenty of his personal style to their wedding day, and they even got a tuxedo for Winston, their insta-famous pug! (Seriously, their dog has almost 50k followers on Instagram ????) Although we saw Leslie’s nerves melt away and her joy return as soon as she saw Eli, it was well after the First Look, when Winston finally arrived, that we saw the biggest smile of the day!

You guys have been an absolute joy to capture – from your elegant Swannanoa engagement session last Fall to you stylish wedding day this Spring, we’ve loved every minute of getting to know you both better! From the champagne pop first thing in the morning to the sparkler exit at the very end of the evening, we saw such loving smiles and ready laughs on your faces all day long. And we hope to see those smiles again soon!
