Dramatic Summer Blackrock Engagement Session

“I think I would rather break my leg than break these heels” Roxanna told us, probably only half-joking. As we hiked around the rock scramble at Blackrock Summit inside Shenandoah National Park, we took a moment at each location to make sure Roxanna had time to put her nude Jimmy Choo high heels on for the shot, and then take them back off to scramble around the area. We weren’t trying to break her OR the Jimmy Choos! At one point, she surprised us both by walking a pretty long way up the path in her heels. This showed us a deep love that Roxanna has for shoes, as well as the love Arek has for her as we watched him practically carry her at a few points during the session!
Usually, Blackrock Summit is a secluded location with very few people. For some reason, there were a handful of nosy onlookers for Roxanna and Arek’s session! However, they were absolute pros, ignoring the shouts of playing children and the complete and total lack of subtlety people had while watching them. I mean, c’mon people! There are plenty of mountains to look at! For Roxanna and Arek though, it was as though no one else was there! After returning from a recent trip to Poland, it was so great to hear about how despite their plans changing (multiple times!), Roxanna finally got to meet all of Arek’s family!

You two were absolutely fearless! Not everyone can hike up onto a ledge and crush it, but you guys certainly did! And when Arek jokingly lunged over a reclining Roxanna, you two let us say, “Wait, we loved that! So dramatic! Do it again!” ???? We had a blast finally meeting you two in person last week, and can’t wait to see you both again in just two months!
