“We are so awkward in front of the camera! You guys just tell us what to do.” That’s what Nancy told us when she and Ryan stepped out of the car at the Market at Grelen’s Bloomfield location. Little did we know that we were walking onto a session with two absolute models! Nancy and Ryan picked up posing SO quickly. And when Hunter asked them to try out a neutral face — something we don’t often do — they completely nailed it! We sailed through Bloomfield posing and chatting as though we had done this together ten times before!

Coming all the way from Florida for their Engagement Session with us, they were wholly un-phased by the heat of the day. When Ryan put on a jacket with his second outfit, we were ready to take our time walking place to place to keep the sweat at bay. But Ryan seemed completely unbothered — a 90-degree Virginia afternoon was cool compared to Miami and Orlando! When we saw Nancy’s second outfit though, we understood what they meant when they told us that they liked to look good when they went out. They coordinated their outfits perfectly! And the asymmetrical fall of Nancy’s hem will forever be dress goals!

It was so great to get to know you both better, and finally meet you ahead of your wedding this winter! Hearing about your wedding plans and your excitement to share the Virginia scenery with your guests told us so much about your hearts! We had a blast with you two last week, and cannot wait to see you again in December!
