We were almost to the farm when the skies opened up, and started pouring down rain. But with Chelsea and Chris’s wedding less than a month away, we HAD to capture their engagement session that evening! After a broken arm delayed our session the first time, a little rain wasn’t going to scare us off! We followed Chelsea and Chris to the farm, pulled up to the barn that Chris had helped build a few years ago, and started to brainstorm! This giant barn could protect us from the weather for the heavier rain, and we could wander out with umbrellas for as much as we can! I started walking Chelsea through some initial ideas when the rain slowed… then stopped!

We barely had to use the umbrellas for the rest of the session! Chelsea and Chris jumped right into posing – cuddling and smiling and laughing the whole time! Chelsea even took her shoes off for the first outfit, bringing some real country babe/free-spirit vibes to the session! For Chris, I don’t know what he was more excited about. His gorgeous soon-to-be bride, or that we gave him the perfect opportunity to wildly pop a bottle of champagne!

It was so much fun to finally get together with you two! You guys were almost completely unphased by the weather, and we loved your willingness to just go for it! We are so excited that we get to see you both again so soon after your engagement session – we cannot wait to see you in just a few weeks!
