When Sarah stepped out of their car for their Blue Ridge Parkway engagement session, two thoughts immediately came to mind. The first was, “WOW! She looks incredible!” The second was that we would have to be careful with the wind with her cocktail-length dress. 😅 Despite the frequent pauses to work with the rushing wind, we had a blast with Sarah and Ben! We could see the love and care they have for each other in so many ways. How they laughed with each other. How they snuggled together. At one point Ben lifted Sarah’s hand to kiss it and Hunter and I absolutely swooned!

Something we love about our Blue Ridge Parkway engagement sessions is — of course — the view. And while the wind was a bit of a pain, the weather overall brought something really unique to their session. As the clouds came in and out, we were able to capture a mix of portraits! We played around with the wind and moved quickly to get some shots with the sun. And Sarah and Ben were so natural that quickly adjusting to a new spot or direction was a breeze (pun absolutely intended)!

You guys are such genuinely sweet people. When we say Sarah just about cried as she opened your gift for our baby on the way home, it is no exaggeration. We know that after such a long trip it can be hard to jump into an engagement session, and you both were so kind and fun that we can tell your wedding will be such a blast! We can’t wait to celebrate with you two in November!
