For Elizabeth and Trevin, a Rocketts Landing engagement session was probably always in the cards! After all, this downtown area of Richmond was where their relationship blossomed in the earliest days. Sure, they’ve traveled (and moved) a LOT since their days in Rocketts Landing. But this part of RVA will always hold a special place in their hearts. As we walked around with them during their engagement session, it was cool to hear them say to each other, “Oh, it’s just like the walks we used to go on!” or “Hey look, it’s our spot!”

And of course, Elizabeth and Trevin weren’t the only ones enjoying the outdoors! Ruth and Poblano explored their parents’ old stomping grounds right alongside them. And once they were handed off to their aunt and uncle, we were off to Libby Hill for more portraits… a picnic! Elizabeth and Trevin even thought to bring cider from Castle Hill, where they’ll be celebrating their marriage next Spring! Everything about this Saturday’s engagement session in Richmond was so thoroughly thought through… we can’t wait for next April already!

Thank you two for allowing us to be a part of your Libby Hill Park and Rocketts Landing engagement session! It was great to finally meet you two (and Ruth and Poblano) in person. And we’re thrilled we even snuck in a photo of Trevin with his favorite tiki boat! 😉 We hope that these images will hold you two over until we meet again next spring to celebrate some more!
