When Danielle was describing her vision for her and Roderick’s private estate wedding, the words she used were “botanical elegance, spring colorful whimsy.” And as we moved throughout her family property on their wedding day, we can confirm that her vision came to life! As she processed down the serpentine aisle with her dad at the start of the ceremony, it was as though she was gliding through a springtime garden. It was truly a fairytale of a day! Even Danielle’s incredible shoes were vibrant and colorful!

 

What really struck us, however, was the deeper theme of the day. This was a celebration of Danielle and Roderick’s two families coming together, and it was honestly poetic. When asked who was giving Danielle away during the ceremony, her father responded with the statement that they weren’t losing a daughter but were gaining a son. Throughout the day friends, family, and Danielle and Rod themselves produced one-liners that belong in a volume of poetry! The depth of emotion and thought were incredible. And the vows these two shared with each other privately — and again with their guests — were a testament to their vulnerability and love for those around them.
