Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
While we would normally postpone a session when bad weather is in the forecast, we couldn’t with Kate and Grant. Grant had to fly back to New York early the morning after their session. So we all decided that — rain or shine — we would go for it! And while their rainy engagement session started off a little wet at Swannanoa Palace, it ended with the most incredible sunset at Raven’s Roost Overlook! As we captured portraits in the rain, Kate and Grant had the absolute best attitude. They were ready to do whatever — even get absolutely soaked — and have a great time doing it!
Hunter and I are low-key obsessed with the chemistry Kate and Grant have. They were just SO natural together. And as Kate came out with idea after idea, Grant was ready to roll with it all! From posing in the rain without umbrellas, to literally checking their umbrellas aside to run together, these two just went for it. And as we drove away from Swannanoa Palace, the sun came out! We had the joy of capturing the second half of their session with the most stunning sunset and some incredible mountain views at Raven’s Roost.
We had such a blast with you both as we captured your rainy engagement session! You two are so much fun to be around and we can’t wait to celebrate with you in October. We hope that these images and this experience only serve to get you even more excited for this fall! We know that your session certainly has Hunter and even more excited for the second weekend in October! 😁
With love,
Sarah and Hunter
