While it might sound counterintuitive as natural light photographers, we love to see clouds at the start of a session. And as we drove up to the Boar’s Head Inn for Erin and Christian’s natural fall engagement session, we were thrilled to see a few clouds scattered along the sky! We love clouds because they allow us to move all over a location. They allow us to shoot at angles that might not normally work because of a bright sun. This led to some truly beautiful light and imagery for Erin and Christian!

One thing we love about an engagement session is the opportunity it gives us to really get to know our couples. Not just as indivudals, but how they interact as a couple. And as we walked around the Boar’s Head for their natural fall engagement session, we learned a lot about these two! Despite their height difference, Erin and Christian have a truly adorable way of snuggling up together. With Erin’s head against his chest, we could see how comfortable they both were. And we could easily see the emotion and care they have for one another.

We had such an amazing time with you both! And we so appreciate you trusting us as we trampled through brambles and sat you on bare ground. Despite what you implied at the start of the session, you two were naturals in front of our cameras. Or at least, you were naturals as you interacted with each other, and we happened to be there to capture it! We love what we captured from our time together, and hope this imagery gets you even more excited for you wedding. August 2026 will be here before you know it, and we can’t wait!
