Emma and Paul’s story began at the University of Lynchburg, where they first met while studying to become physical therapists. She started as his mentor, but somewhere amidst the socials and study groups, their relationship became something more. They eventually confessed their feelings for each other, and the rest is history. Last month, their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of their story and personalities! They totally transformed Castle Hill Cider, embracing a coastal inspired wedding aesthetic, with a rustic farmhouse elegance that felt both polished and inviting. That theme came through in the smallest (and largest) details, namely their unique seating chart! Guests found their names displayed on the 10-foot tall sail of an actual sailboat, creating a playful nod to the coastal inspiration behind the day.

The entire celebration felt bright, colorful, and full of energy. Citrus tones appeared throughout the florals, while layered drapery made the reception space feel warm and cozy. Their massive wedding parties brought plenty of energy to the day, and that excitement only grew once everyone hit the dance floor. Friends and family packed the reception, inflatable guitars in hand, celebrating Emma and Paul with the kind of enthusiasm that made it clear how loved they are. Eventually, the newlyweds even took over the stage and the mic themselves, DJing and belting out “Pink Pony Club.” It was an absolute ~vibe~ and the perfect ending to wedding that never took itself too seriously. Elegant details, vibrant colors, and a packed dance floor came together to create a celebration that felt completely unique to them.
