“So, I have an idea…” This is what Sarah says when something totally different pops into her head – and luckily, Maria and Kell were willing to give it a go! With the last remnants of fall in the trees and on the ground surrounding us, Sarah wanted to capture an iconic fall photo. She wanted to toss a huge pile of leaves up into the air, so we could photography Maria and Kell while the leaves gently fluttered down around them. There were just enough leaves, and the shot turned out beautifully! Although it may have worked a bit better if Sarah wasn’t so short 😂

We don’t often have couples come to us for a newlywed session – people tend to take their photos while their engaged, on their wedding days, and occasionally on anniversaries. So, when Maria and Kell asked about a session a month after their wedding we were both surprised and excited! There are so many emotions involved in photography, and Maria and Kell’s newlywed session had as much love and care as a couple on their wedding day. We hope this is just the start of a trend of newlywed sessions to come!
