Ken and I must have gone back and forth three of four times on where he wanted to propose to his girlfriend T’Keyah last month. There are so many amazing places in the Charlottesville area where one could get engaged! But eventually, we settled on a Blue Ridge Parkway proposal. And in retrospect, it was the perfect choice! As I sat by the overlook pretending to read a book, camera hidden nearby, I heard Ken and T’Keyah approaching. They were chatting and discussing the amazing views. What was that off in the distance? A farmhouse? Maybe.

Then, without much preamble, Ken turned and too T’Keyah’s hands in his own. Although I was a bit too far away to hear the words he said to her, I could tell by his tone and by her reaction that they were meaningful and sweet. And by the time he got down on one knee, my camera had escaped its hiding place and being put to work! The images that followed on this overcast August afternoon were perfect, and encapsulated Ken and T’Keyah’s love perfectly ♥

It means the world to us when we know that our couples love their images, whether for a proposal, an engagement session, or a wedding day.
