Blush Korean Wedding at Morais Vineyards

One of our favorite parts of a wedding day is listening to what our couple says to each other, or getting to hear what their loved ones say about them in their toasts and speeches. But for YJ and Jung, we experienced something totally different — and equally special. YJ and Jung exchanged their intimate vows during their first look, and hosted their wedding ceremony in Korean! So as two people who do not speak Korean, this allowed Hunter and I to see and experience a wedding day in a whole new light. While we didn’t know the exact words that YJ and Jung said to each other, we still knew what they were saying. The love and joy emanated from them!
Another theme throughout their wedding day was honor. From taking the time during their ceremony to hug each of their mothers, to bowing at the end of the ceremony to all of their guests — these were both things we had only ever seen once in other Korean ceremonies, and the impact on us was so powerful!

Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day! We loved getting to know you both over the last year or so, and we hope that you’re having a blast in the Maldives! We also hope that we get to see you two again someday, whether in the DC area, or in Charlottesville!
