Classic Charlottesville Engagement Session in Belmont and King Family Vineyards

When Emily and Cory told us they wanted their engagement session to have a Charlottesville feel to it, we were thrilled! Not only did they want to go to a vineyard for their engagement session, they ALSO wanted to go to one of our favorite places in C’ville – Belmont! With it’s iconic “I LOVE CHARLOTTESVILLE” mural and quaint downtown feel, Belmont was the perfect spot to start! They even brought their puppy, Lucy, to the session!
After Belmont, we all drove to King Family Vineyard (in separate cars of course) to get a starkly different feel to the second half of Emily and Cory’s session. With its mountain views and vast field, King Family Vineyard was a perfect contrast to the quaint, urban Belmont feel! As we get closer to Christmas, our sessions grow more and more cold! Emily and Cory seemed completely prepared for the brisk afternoon we had, and it was such a joy to hear all about their recent outdoor firepit addition! We just hope that once COVID is a thing of the past, we can all share a fire together!

You guys are amazing! It literally brought us so much joy when you messaged that you two were practicing the twirl when you got home – we literally cannot wait to see it again on your wedding day! We literally never could have imagined that a 25-minute headshot session so many years ago would one day lead to such a fun engagement session (and wedding) with such a wonderful couple!
