Christie and Michael’s wedding day was a beautiful mix of grounded, timeless tradition with modern and inventive flares. Christie got ready in her parents’ home, the home she grew up in. They exchanged their vows during a traditional Catholic ceremony. Christie wore a white lace A-line dress, and Michael a black three-piece suit. Their day featured so many timeless classics, but their wedding was anything but ordinary! For starters, their choice of Harbour View’s marina wedding venue instantly made them stand out as one of our few waterfront weddings! Plus, their many accomodations for COVID-19, including masked dancing, spaced-out ceremony seating, and an over-sized reception space so each table had more room were more… necessary additions.

But despite all of this, and the uncertain world that we find ourselves in, Christie and Michael’s wedding day was a wonderful reminder to us, to them, and to their guests that life can go in in our “new normal”. Their day was a beautiful celebration of their love for each other that not even a global pandemic could put an end to. And if their love for each other is even half as resilient as their wedding plans were, we’ll go ahead and add their 50 year vow-renewal to our calendar right now!

From the way you two read each other’s letters on Saturday morning, to the way you looked at each other as you danced around the Marina, the love you share for each other is so obvious to everyone around you! And we know that with such a big, loving family around you, there are so many people who will love and support you as you grow as a married couple. We’re sad that our journey together has to come to an official end, but so happy for you two and the life that you have ahead! We hope that you’ll keep in touch!
