As they pulled into the parking lot, we could see two little corgi ears popping up from Casey’s lap. The second the car door opened, Lily — Casey and Rob’s corgi — immediately sprinted over to us to say hello! We remembered Rob telling us that on his first date with Casey, he had left her alone with his extremely social corgi. It was a sort of “test” to see how Casey was with Lily. And to see how she did when random strangers approached her to pet her dog! And now we fully know why! We’ve captured plenty of dogs before, but it felt like this corgi wanted to go say hello to every tree on the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Something that we loved about our time with Casey and Rob was how supportive Rob is of Casey. He is her ultimate hype-man! This was fully evident in preview they gave us of their first dance. A trained dancer, Casey has a whole routine planned out that flaunts her incredible skill, as well as Rob’s ability to ~literally~ support her! The photos end up being a great way to show off her talent, Rob’s strength, and the gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Parkway. All at the same time!

We had such a great time getting to know you two earlier this month. And we especially loved hearing all about your vision for wedding at the Science Museum of Virginia in June! We literally can’t wait to have you two in front of our cameras again, and see the beautiful vision that you have executed in real life. We know we’ll be in contact plenty between now and then. But we hope in the meantime, these images just get you excited for the wedding to come. And even more excited for the amazing marriage to follow!
