Dramatic Overcast Engagement Session on the Blue Ridge Parkway

As we pulled up to the location for Jillian and Nate’s engagement session, the views were more dramatic than ever. The overcast sky allowed us to see every single curve and mountain for miles! It was ideal for capturing a mountainous engagement session! When Jillian and Nate got out of the car in their fall-themed outfits, the day was complete! We were in the weird part of fall where it looks chilly, but it’s actually 70 degrees ???? but Jillian stuck through the first part of their session in a cardigan and it was absolutely worth it!
Their second outfits, however, were just as perfect, but in a different way. Jillian’s red dress cast a beautiful contrast to the mountains, and flowed every time the breeze picked up ???? As Nate helped her along the rocky grounds, we could see the gentle care they have for one another (full disclosure: we really are all about safety, especially when it comes to rocky cliffs)! As we played with some poses later on in their session, it was a joy to see Nate pick Jillian up with ease and watch them interact!
