Hunter and I have had the joy of knowing Katie and Drew for years. When we first joined a Community Group through our church here in Charlottesville, Katie and Drew were always the first people to walk up to a new person (like us!) and introduce themselves. They have such a gift with hospitality and making others feel welcome and at home, so it was no surprise when our “small” group was at almost 25 people, they stepped up as the new leaders so our group could multiply into two smaller groups.

 

Since then, it’s been a joy to watch them continue to walk down the road of marriage together, first buying a home, and now preparing for baby Avery this spring! We could tell by the way they talked about the newest addition to their family how excited they are to be parents! We know these outdoor adventure lovers will have an infant hiking backpack before they know it. Or maybe a car-seat strapped to their kayak? Either way, we’re sure that baby Avery will be in fantastic, loving hands from the moment she enters this world!

We’re so glad that we could connect during these winter months and capture this beautiful time of anticipation! We can only imagine how excited (and maybe nervous) you two are feeling right now, but we’re sure you’re going to make an incredible parenting team. We can’t wait to meet baby Avery this Spring, and we hope these photos make this waiting period all the more special!
