“I can’t cry right now, it’s too early!” This is what Sara said, mostly to herself, as she stood in the getting ready suite at King Family Vineyards, about to open the note that Samer had written for her on the morning of their wedding. They had both written each other a note to read before they saw one another — the perfect silent and slow compliment on a day that can be so busy and hectic and emotional! The fact that they took the time to really think about the other and what they wanted to say on their wedding day is just a small look into the intentionality they have with each other.

Before the wedding day, Sara and Samer told us that one thing they were really excited about was the party! They told us that the dancefloor would be packed with American and Egyptian family alike, and that it was going to be a ton of fun. And these two were absolutely right! Before dinner was even done, the dance floor was full of their friends and family. We were initially supposed to leave early in the night, and we are so glad they chose to keep us on until the very last moment!
