There is something truly special about a groom crying at the sight of his bride. Not every groom cries, and that’s okay! But when Jon turned around to see the stunning Melissa during their fall wedding at Pharsalia, he did two things. He smiled as wide as he could in pure excitement and awe. Then he cried tears of joy! Even after spending a couple hours together taking portraits after their first look, seeing his bride walk down the aisle still had such a powerful emotional impact on Jon.

When we stole Melissa and Jon away later in the evening for some sunset portraits, the giggles and glee were non-stop as the newlyweds basked in the final warmth of the day! Even though the wind would later pick up, blustering across the tented dancefloor, Melissa and Jon didn’t hesitate to hit the dance floor with all their friends and family!
