Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
When Sarah and I sit down with a new couple to chat about wedding photography, it’s almost always with both the bride and the groom. So we were surprised when Megan showed up to the coffee shop back in January with a friend instead of Joe! It wasn’t a problem, but it meant that were meeting Joe for the very first time when we arrived at Pen Park for their engagement session last week. After a few introductions and a little catching up, we got right to work! After all, this was our second or third reschedule – the rain had not been kind to our schedules this spring and summer.
We know it was worth the wait. The late-summer sunset seemed to last forever as we explored the Park together. We even discovered some wildflowers that had never been in bloom during one of our sessions before, and Megan and Joe were kind enough to adventure through the grasses and flowers for some incredible images! We also loved hearing them tell stories together – like how Joe proposed last year in the middle of a game night surrounded by friends.
It was so nice to finally be all together in one place! We really enjoyed getting to meet Joe, and getting to know you two as a couple firsthand, rather than just from Megan’s accounts. We’re also overjoyed that the weather worked out for us – we know how excited you were for those dreamy sunset photos, and there was no shortage of sunset last Tuesday! We hope you two stay well these next few months, and we can’t wait to see you in April for the wedding day!
With love,
Hunter + Sarah
