Emma and Paul’s Boar’s Head engagement session could not have been more perfectly timed. We met them at the resort on November 1st, just as the foliage hit its absolute peak. It was the kind of fall color that makes every angle pop with color. The yellows and reds around the ponds and walking trails were especially glowing, and every turn of the path offered a new backdrop. We wandered across the property together (carefully avoiding the 15-foot-tall light-up boar already set up for the resort’s annual holiday light parade), laughing the entire way.

From the start, Emma and Paul were so easy to get to know and to photograph. Both physical therapists, they made every pose look natural — even the more active ones. Running, lifts, spins — they nailed them all, and their ability to take direction (and joke about it) made the hour fly by. Their chemistry was effortless, the kind that makes even quiet moments feel meaningful. They drove up from Lynchburg just for the session, but made a whole evening out of it, checking out a few breweries for a possible rehearsal dinner spot before heading home. Between the light, the colors, and their energy, it couldn’t have been a better afternoon!

We’re already counting down the days until your wedding next summer! You two brought so much joy, laughter, and warmth to your Boar’s Head engagement session. We just know it was a perfect preview of what’s to come at Castle Hill in July! We can already tell your wedding will be full of that same energy and genuine connection.
