Garden Engagement Session at Waterperry Farm

Rain threatened the date we had selected for Taylor and Eli’s engagement session. But when we called to chat with them about whether or not to reschedule, Eli said something curious. He specifically mentioned Taylor’s dress, and that — even if just for the sake of the dress — we may want to reschedule for sunnier weather. That just made us even MORE curious! After two agonizing weeks of waiting, we pulled into the parking area at Waterperry for Taylor and Eli’s garden engagement session. As Taylor stepped out of the car we were blown away! She had on the most incredible, layered, floral engagement session dress! It seemed to flow forever! This dress was absolutely worth waiting for a day with better weather.
As we wandered around the gardens at Waterperry Farm, we got to see how Taylor and Eli interacted with each other. This concern that Eli had for Taylor’s dress extended far beyond her outfit! Holding her hand as we walked from location to location, we could see his love and care for her. And of course — the feelings seemed mutual! Taylor seemed like she would have been happy to just sit down on any bench we passed (gorgeous multi-layered engagement dress and all) and just spend the afternoon chatting with Eli. Maybe take turns naming all of the flowers in the gardens. Friends always make the best partners!

Thank you so much for hiring us to capture your beautiful, summery garden engagement session! We had a great time as we walked, danced, and dress-fluffed our way around the property with you two late last month. As wedding planning is on pause right now, we hope that this gallery of images serves as the perfect reminder of why you’re bothering with wedding planning at all!
