Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
After a long day of work, most people just want to be left alone for a few minutes of peace and quiet. Whether you’re on a train, riding the metro, or catching a plane home for the weekend, talking to the person next to you is — for most people — not in the cards. But, what if your neighbor is… kinda cute!? When Kadi got on a bus for a work event and took her seat next to David, she immediately began chatting him up. It’s a good thing she did! Although at the time she probably just wanted to make the bus ride a bit less awkward, neither of them knew that they had just met their future spouse!
Walking around Washington, D.C. for their engagement session, we could tell that Kadi and David got along extremely well and just felt so comfortable with each other. They chatted and giggled everywhere they went and — despite not enjoying having their photos taken — these two seemed to have a blast walking and dancing around! After more than a year of emails and phone calls, it was so fun to finally spend a couple hours hanging with these two.
You guys have been so resilient through this planning process. We’ve watched you pivot your wedding plans seamlessly and taken the stress in stride! It was such a pleasure to watch you two just be together and listen to your excitement for your wedding to come, despite everything COVID has thrown at you guys. We hope that everything going forward is as smooth as you two were during your engagement session, and we can’t wait to see you again next summer!
With love,
Sarah + Hunter
