As we pulled in to Boar’s Head Resort in Charlottesville, we could tell one thing for sure: these two had definitely just returned from several weeks at the beach! Kathryn had a fantastic, bronze tan, and Brendan’s whole outfit just screamed “linen beachy chill”. They had just gotten back from two weeks at the beach with family (not long after a seperate week at the beach ????), and they carried themselves with a relaxed vibe that made us jealous immediately! As fellow beach bums, it was easy for us to get to know Kathryn and Brendan during our time together.

Although they had just gotten back to reality, they were more than ready for their engagement session. They even brought a bottle of champagne — complete with two crystal glasses — for props! As we got to know Kathryn and Brendan throughout the session, we realized how special The Boars Head is to them. Kathryn’s parents were married here in the 80’s! Although this apparently wasn’t the reason they picked this location for their engagement session (and their wedding later this year!), it certainly makes the location just that much more special.

We are so glad we could finally meet you both in person! We loved getting to know a little more about you guys, and swap some of our favorite Charlottesville restaurants! We cannot wait to hear the rest of your engagement-session-turned-date night went when we see you again next April! And I’m sure we’ll chat plenty in the meantime ????
