Golden Sunset Engagement Session at King Family Vineyards

As full-time professional wedding photographers, we hear a lot of stories about how people meet. But we don’t often get a story like Tess and Austin’s! Despite having gone to the same college, Tess and Austin met for the first time in a bar when Tess commented on Austin’s koozie! After hearing about all their mutual friends and the inevitable “we were at the same place at the same time but never met” moments, it was so fun to hear all the details about how Tess and Austin came to be planning a wedding together!
It’s always fun to find little connection points between us and our couples. Sometimes we commiserate over long-distance dating, or living in a house while renovating. Sometimes we come to find that we went to the same college or grew up in the same town. But it isn’t often that we bond with our couples over our shared lives centered around odd schedules! Because of Austin’s residency schedule, he and Tess often find themselves going out for a date over drinks on a random Tuesday or Wednesday evening, something that Hunter and I can totally relate to!

After getting much of your story through Instagram DMs, it was so refreshing to meet you both in person and get to know you two in real life! You guys are so much fun to be around, and we are so glad that we could be a part of your story down the aisle!
