As true beach people at heart, Hunter and I LOVE the idea of an oceanfront wedding. Skip the complex wedding planning; just a quiet morning on the ocean to marry your best friend. For Taylor and Brian, they truly brought that dream into reality! From gathering both of their families to Holden Beach, NC for the entire week, to all the smaller details, these two planned a perfect getaway wedding! When we arrived — just as the sun was rising — there was a buzz about the whole block. Taylor and Brian’s wedding guests had rented several houses nearby for the week and everyone was getting ready!

Taylor’s bridesmaids got her into her dress and she rapidly descended the stairs to her and Brian’s First Look! Despite being on the beach, this part of North Carolina had it’s sunrise over the nearby marshes rather than the ocean. According to Taylor’s friends and family that were gathered, this couldn’t have been more perfect, since Taylor is a BIG fan of marsh sunrises! Yet the stunning golden light that wrapped these two was reminiscent of a classic beach sunrise. There must be something truly special about Taylor and Brian, because they go all their dearest friends and family to wake up at sunrise just to celebrate them!

As much fun as we had during your engagement session last summer, it was seriously such a blast to be able to capture your wedding day! It’s also special to us that you two were married on June 24th — for the rest of our lives, we’ll share a Wedding Anniversary! You two are both so humble, kind, and fun — we hope that we will get to see you again soon!
