We’re pretty sure that Heather and Tyler are completely un-stressable. When they first approached us about photographing their September wedding at the Greencroft Club, it was only 11 weeks before their wedding day. Yes, I said 11 WEEKS, not 11 months. When we sat down in person later that week, it didn’t seem to have fazed them at all that their previous photographer had backed out on them less than three months before their wedding day. When we met for their sunset engagement session at the Market at Grelen, they were as cool as cucumbers. And when a sudden afternoon thunderstorm blew into town only 25 minutes before their outdoor wedding ceremony, they made adjustments and went on with their day without compromising on an ounce of their nuptial joy.

 

This attitude was present throughout their entire day. As they got ready with their friends, as they hugged with family, and as Heather got into her dress fit for a queen. By the way, when we describe Heather and Tyler as un-stressable, don’t confuse that with laid-back. When Heather gets laughing or feels passionate about something, she’s a force to be reckoned with! Tyler on the other hand had a more subtle and quiet confidence, and wasn’t afraid to get emotional when he first saw Heather in her dress.

Your wedding day was absolutely wonderful, despite a few minor setbacks! If you two handle difficult circumstances throughout the course of your marriage as well as you did on your wedding day, we know you’ll do just fine 🙂 It’s honestly hard to imagine that we only met last month for your engagement session — it already feels like we’ve known each other forever! We felt honored to capture your special day, and were so glad to spend the morning getting to know you two (and your wedding party) even better! We hope you won’t be strangers whenever you’re back in town.
