As photographers, we often get to witness and capture some incredible milestones in our couples’ lives. For Blake and Morgan, it’s been our joy to be a part of their proposal, capture their maternity photos this fall, and now meet their new baby Eden barely a week after she came into the world! Although tired from their lack of consistent sleep and still a little weak from, you know, creating a new life, Morgan and Blake were so excited to get their little nugget in front of the camera.

 

Wrapped in her swaddling cloth and matching headband (too cute, I’m dying, it’s fine), in her brief moments of consciousness, baby Eden seemed to know that she was the star. Despite the fact that we pressed through one diaper change and two breaks for Eden to nurse, the time flew by as Morgan and Blake loved on and snuggled up to their baby girl. With Morgan as the master head-rubber and Blake now an expert back-patter, they made new parents across the globe proud as they kept their little girl comfortable in her debut modeling session.

Thank you so much for allowing Hunter and I to join you during this uncharted new season in your lives! Meeting Eden was SO worth the wait, even though you kept her name a secret during your maternity session 😉 We know that being new parents can be difficult, but we hope that these photos make for a wonderful (and only slightly belated) Christmas present. We pray that you’re both able to get some rest over the holidays if you can – we all know you two have earned it!
