When we initially met with Noelle and Hunter, they mentioned some ideas they had for their engagement session. They love their apartment in Richmond, VA and wanted to have some of their session in their home! We could see from their video-chat background that they had put a lot of thought into their surroundings. They also mentioned the Virginia Museum of Fine Art (VMFA) as a potential location! But three words had us more stoked than anything else: vespa. engagement. session.

Something that will never cease to amaze us is just how creative our couples are.

Don’t get us wrong — their little one-bedroom apartment was beyond adorable. And honestly, better curated than almost any home we’ve ever been in! And the light on the VMFA’s lawn was perfect. But we were so excited when we finally broke out the vespa! One of their first dates was when Hunter visited Noelle while she was studying abroad in Italy. So the vespa just had to work it’s way into the session! Their mutual love of Italy was represented beautifully into their session, and we can’t wait to see how they incorporate that into their wedding as well!
