One joke we heard throughout the weekend was that Eesha and Patrick were having multiple weddings. So how could it have gone by so quickly?! Friday morning began with a traditional Hindu Grah Shanti and Haldi, the iconic spreading of tumeric paste all over the couple’s skin. That evening, we gathered for a “rehearsal dinner” at King Family Vineyards that was larger than most weddings we’ve photographed!
As we walked away from Castle Hill that evening, we couldn’t believe that Eesha and Patrick’s Indian-American Fusion Wedding weekend was already over!
When the wedding day finally arrived, Eesha and Patrick began the morning with a traditional Baraat and Hindu Ceremony. The energy level that morning at the Water’s Edge at Mount Ida Farms was absolutely unparalleled! Patrick excitedly led the entire wedding in a burst of music and dancing toward the ceremony site. It was such an incredible celebration!
After their Hindu ceremony and a lunch at Mount Ida, we all headed for Castle Hill Cider, the third venue of the weekend. The ladies began hair and makeup all over again as they prepared to change outfits for the evening christian ceremony. (This is where the Indian-American Fusion wedding comes in!) Eesha said they were going for an old-school Hollywood feel for their western attire, and they absolutely nailed it! With gorgeous curls, a sweeping dress, and Patrick’s classic tux… the looks evoked a perfect vibe. And of course, plenty of toast, speeches, and dancing followed!
Eesha and Patrick,
Hunter and I loved going on this adventure with you both! We had an incredible time getting to know you and your families — both during your engagement session and throughout your wedding weekend. We hope that these images will bless you both for years to come!
With love,
Sarah + Hunter
