Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.

Paige and Joe’s intimate Charlottesville elopement at the Market at Grelen’s Boxwood Villa was a beautiful reminder that a wedding doesn’t have to be big to mean everything. After years together, they got engaged this spring and decided to just send it. A traditional wedding never felt quite like them, so they planned an intimate elopement in just two months. With only a small handlful of their closest family present, they created a day centered on what mattered most: getting married and celebrating the life they’re building together.
The occasional rain made the day feel even more intimate. Their ceremony was emotional, intentional, and full of meaning. During her vows, Paige promised to love, “every version” of Joe, a sentiment that captured the depth of their commitment. For the two of them, their ideal wedding didn’t involve a packed dance floor or an elaborate production. Just family, heartfelt promises, and two people who knew exactly what they wanted. Throughout the day, Paige and Joe were incredibly kind and gracious. Their warmth even to their vendors made the experience all the more special!
Thank you for welcoming me into such a meaningful day. I loved how thoughtfully you approached your elopement and how much care you showed everyone around you. Your ceremony was a beautiful reflection of your relationship: intentional, heartfelt, and entirely your own. We hope you look back on your intimate Charlottesville elopement with the same joy and gratitude I felt being there!
With love,
Sarah (& Hunter)
