When Katelyn first mentioned wanting to share personal vows before the ceremony, we weren’t sure how it would go. Asking everyone to arrive early, dressed and ready, felt ambitious! But during their wedding at Avonlea Farms, it came together beautifully. After a private first look, Katelyn and Michael stood surrounded by their closest family members and read heartfelt vows to each other. Tears filled the circle as they exchanged promises of love and commitment. When they finished, Michael’s grandfather quietly said to Katelyn, “Welcome to the family.” It was a simple moment that perfectly captured the emotion and intimacy of their day.

One of our favorite things about their Avonlea Farms wedding was how affectionate these two are. Katelyn and Michael were constantly snuggling, holding hands, and sharing hugs with everyone around them. Their warmth filled every space they entered, and their family and friends returned that love tenfold. But the biggest surprise came during the reception — their first dance! We had no idea they’d been secretly practicing a choreographed routine. When the music started and they moved together with confidence and grace, everyone cheered. It was the perfect mix of romance and fun, and it showed exactly who they are as a couple.
