Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
As Wanyi and Junshi walked up to us at the Gardens at Waterperry Farm, we were surprised! Having originally planned for guests, these two tossed that plan aside and wanted to walk into marriage together – just the two of them! This also meant we had plenty of time to capture two different sets of emotions! We took time before the ceremony, capturing the way they looked at each other in anticipation of their vows. And again, after the ceremony, we continued to walk them through a series of romantic portraits as they shared about what married life would be like!
Being able to walk through the gardens with them was such a joy. They had only seen photos of Waterperry before booking, and got to experience it for the first time on their wedding day. And Wanyi, being a landscape architect, was enthralled with the location! Even when thunder began rolling all around us and raindrops began to follow, Wanyi and Junshi hardly seemed to notice. As a quick sunshower passed overhead, we ducked into the greenhouse and continued to capture intimate portraits. Even then, the sun somehow seemed to shine through the rain!
It was so great to finally meet you both in person! We loved talking with you guys about your low-key plans for the rest of your wedding night, and your plans for the future! We wish you the best of luck with your move this week, and for the new job and post-doc program that begin later this month for you two!
With love,
Sarah + Hunter
