Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
One phrase that I’ve been hearing from Sarah a lot lately is, “Okay…I have a lot of ideas!” We’re typically about an hour into a 90-minute engagement session, and her head is filled with poses, locations and shots that she’s envisioned for each of our couples! It certainly helped her idea-generating brain that Swannanoa Palace was chock-full of hauntingly beautiful spots for both of our imaginations to run wild! There was an abundance of awe-inspiring locations around the 100+ year old mansion that made it absolutely perfect for an engagement session. The slightly overgrown brush, the cracked walkways, the marble, the empty fountain… Nikole and Tyler picked a perfect spot and they were more than willing to try all our new ideas!
As we wandered through the grounds, we were blown away by Nikole and Tylers willingness to step into heavily brushed areas, dance in an empty fountain, and try out Sarah’s wild idea to sit on a not-so-sturdy railing. But they seemed like the kind of couple that was up for any adventure, so long as they were together. They caught onto all our posing so quickly, and even their golden retriever puppy Winston got to make a few appearances!
It isn’t often that we hear of our groom telling his future bride that he would marry her before they were even dating! We love how intentional you guys are with your relationship, from dating to the proposal to the wedding! You guys have such a natural chemistry that will stand the test of time, and we hope that these images only inspire your love further as you await your wedding day!
