Unae and David are yet another wonderful example of couples who have really been rolling with the punches in a year of crazy COVID-19 Wedding Planning. We were originally hoping to do their engagement session at a local park here in the Spring, but when the pandemic forced parks to close, it put things on hold for months. Once things were opened up and they found a weekend to come to town, it poured down rain the evening of their session 😩 Then, they SO graciously agreed to reschedule again when Amanda and Victor asked if we could move their elopement up by 24 hours to avoid Hurrican Laura.

 

And all the while, Unae and David have been so joyful and positive! In every interaction we’ve had with them and all throughout their Engagement Session, they were nothing but positive, joyful people. As we got to know them better, walking the National Mall and exploring the Kennedy Center with them, we felt more and more excited to be on this journey with them! Thankfully, even though COVID affected their engagement session, their wedding at King Family Vineyards later this month is still going forward as planned! Just with a few modifications 😅

After months and months of emailing and video chats, it was SO fun to finally meet you two in person! And we’re so glad you hired us to come up to you two so we could tell your story on your “home turf”, just across the Potomac from your apartment! It’s so crazy to think that when we see you next, in just TEN days, that you two will be getting married!!
