Joyful Winter Proposal at King Family Vineyards

“What…? Where are we going? Why did you put your wine down?” Morgan we clearly confused as Erik led her beyond the tasting room patio and into the field at King Family Mountain. The air was absolutely frigid and the wind was blustery on that January afternoon, but Erik seemed like a man on a mission. Morgan’s question was answered just a few seconds later as Erik took her hands in his, and turned her around to face him. Then… he got down on one knee. After that, I doubt the weather bothered Morgan at all!
Morgan and Erik’s joy was SO contagious! As we ushered them into a mini-session, we were swept away with them! Morgan and Erik kept looking at each other with so much love in their eyes and laughed together in disbelief. There is something truly special about being so near to a couple that just got engaged! Morgan’s joy and excitement was unparalleled, and Erik’s absolute relief from no longer needing to hold in the surprise was palpable!

Even though our time together was brief thanks to the biting wind, we had such an amazing time with you both on Saturday! We hope that the celebration that followed in Richmond (Erik filled us in on his plans in advance 😉) was a wonderful start to a fun-filled marriage, and that these photos will allow your family and friends to experience your proposal alongside you!
