Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.

Paige and Evan’s Giggly Boar’s Head engagement session was exactly the kind of session we love. From the moment we started walking around the property, these two felt completely comfortable together. They met at Virginia Tech and started dating during their sophomore year. Even though they live in Charlotte now, Charlottesville is still home for Paige’s family. That made a session back in C’ville an easy choice! We met on a beautiful September evening, with cool air and that unmistakable feeling that fall was almost here. Their April wedding at Keswick Vineyards was just six months away, and they were already getting excited. Paige was especially giggly throughout the session. She laughed constantly, while Evan happily went along with whatever we suggested. By the end, Paige told me it was the most comfortable she had ever felt while taking photos. Honestly, that was the best compliment that Sarah or I can receive!
That comfort made it easy to get creative. Paige and Evan were willing to walk through tall grass, dance in a random field, or simply lie down on the ground in their fashionable fits. We wandered from one spot to another, talking and laughing the entire time. Nothing felt forced. The evening light was gorgeous, and everything seemed to glow as the sun dropped lower. Paige definitely brought the personality, while Evan seemed perfectly happy to let her shine. It was so fun watching that dynamic play out throughout the session! Near the very end, Paige traded her constant giggles for a beautiful soft smile. It was a completely different expression, and one we will absolutely have to take advantage of more on their wedding day! After an hour together, it honestly felt like we had been long friends rather than having just met for the first time.
Your giggly Boar’s Head engagement session was such a joy to photograph. I loved how quickly you both relaxed and trusted me to lead you through the session. Your willingness to try anything gave us so many opportunities for fun, natural photographs. Paige, your laughter made the entire evening feel lighter! Thank you for being so open, playful, and completely yourselves. We cannot wait to see you again for your Keswick Vineyards wedding next spring!
With love,
Sarah and Hunter
