Darling Library-Themed Micro Wedding on Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall

When Tommy turned around to see his bride, he was absolutely giddy! He had the brightest smile on his face and immediately began to shower Hillary with compliments on her dress. Having designed the dress herself over the last 18 months, this dress was perfectly and precisely Hillary, and it was unlike anything we had seen before! Tommy walked around Hillary multiple times, taking in all the wonderful details on Hillary’s dress from the gorgeous lace sleeves to the buttons that lined the back. Then his eyes set on his beautiful bride’s smile. It was like he couldn’t believe how lucky he was! When you add in their many library-themed details (they LOVE reading and met at a book club!), this wedding was so uniquely them.

There is something truly beautiful about a couple on their wedding day, and despite the recent change to a micro-wedding, Hillary and Tommy were no exception. There was no filter or limit to their love and joy. As we watched Hillary and Tommy laugh and walk together, as they chatted throughout the day, we could see their intimate connection! The little gestures they made to each other throughout the evening showed us the depth of their shared experiences these last few years!

We know that your love will be as permanent and visible as the library stamp you guys use to label your books! Just like your stamp, you guys are truly one of a kind and it was an absolute joy to capture your wedding day. We know that it didn’t look exactly as you had envisioned, but your many hand-made decorations and designs still brought out such tremendous beauty, and your smiling faces were the perfect finish. We were so happy to walk alongside you two on this process from proposal all the way to wedding day! And hopefully beyond 😊
