As Blaine and Jenna danced hand-in-hand across King Family Vineyard’s Roseland Polo field, they began to hum a tune together. They danced a simple sway as they looked into each other’s eyes, and the gentleness of the moment perfectly matched the haze of the afternoon and the fog that had settled over the mountains at their backs. Suddenly, without warning, Blaine grabbed Jenna around the waist and spun her around in the air as they laughed and smiled at each other.

 

While their entire session certainly had a dreamy, fairy tale quality, Blaine and Jenna likely would have fit better in Tangled than in Cinderella. Their witty gibes and playful sarcasm had us all laughing as they bantered back and forth, and joked with us and each other. Their playful attitudes and willingness to try every pose made their session a dream, and they fell into some of the poses like they had done this a dozen times before. We couldn’t believe that the session was already over by the time the sun finally fell behind the mountains!

We are so glad that we were able to connect with you two and photograph your engagement session in Crozet earlier this month. Our joking back and forth from the moment we met made us all fast friends, and the similarities in our journeys made Hunter and I feel like kindred spirits with you two! We had a blast not only during the session, but during our impromptu dinner afterwards as well. We’re beyond pleased with how the photos turned out, and even more excited to be a part of your wedding day next Fall! But let’s not wait until then to hang out again 🙂
