Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.

From the very first video call, we knew Kelly and Andy were kindhearted people. Their story began backstage on Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Kelly was a dancer, while Andy was a sixth-generation stagehand, and their connection felt effortless from the very beginning. Just three weeks into dating, Andy traveled to Charlottesville to meet Kelly’s family, staying on the very property that would eventually host the final celebration of their wedding weekend. Ever since her parents moved to Charlottesville, Kelly had considered it home, making a multi-day Charlottesville wedding the perfect way to celebrate both their relationship and one of the places they love most. Whether they were laughing together, stealing a quiet cuddle, or flirting between photos, their chemistry was impossible to miss. Kelly’s years as a performer gave her incredible confidence in front of the camera, effortlessly shifting from joyful laughter to timeless, editorial portraits.
Their multi-day Charlottesville wedding began on Wednesday with a rehearsal and rehearsal dinner before the celebration moved to The Seclusion near Lexington on Thursday for their intimate ceremony. Fewer than forty guests gathered on the mountaintop, creating a deeply personal celebration with the people who had shaped their relationship most. Before the reception, Kelly slipped into a silky, backless gown that perfectly matched the relaxed elegance of the evening. Their first dance led into what felt less like a wedding reception and more like a dinner party. On Friday was their welcome party at Kardinal Hall before the weekend culminated on Saturday with an unforgettable celebration on Kelly’s parents’ private estate. Guests enjoyed an extended cocktail hour, an al fresco dinner around one long U-shaped table, and heartfelt toasts before dancing the night away.
Thank you for inviting us into your multi-day Charlottesville wedding. Watching you intentionally celebrate your people over several unforgettable days was such a gift. From your mountaintop vows to your joyful garden dinner and the incredible celebration beneath the stars, every moment reflected your generous hearts and deep love for one another. We can’t wait to see where your next adventure takes you!
With love,
Sarah and Hunter
